Our history

On one side, the smell of apples and fresh rain, the soothing silence of the countryside, the tawny and reassuring warmth of red brick; on the other, the dazzling colors of a mysterious country and the captivating scent of spices.

That's it, Moismont. A need for authenticity and a return to basics tinged with a desire to escape, a bit from elsewhere in the middle of deep roots.

Moismont, Picardy, France

A family home whose walls resonate with the laughter of children and the stories they have witnessed.

In winter, we put on rubber boots, an anorak, then wrap ourselves in a scarf to face the cold in the middle of the orchards. When night falls, we warm up around a fireplace, we chat, we listen to the crackling wood.

In summer, jam workshops and seaside excursions punctuate children's holidays and after a hot day we wrap ourselves in soft, light fabrics to enjoy the cool of the evening.

Moismont is above all a house of values and traditions. We feel good there, protected by its walls, benevolent guardians of the family spirit.

And there, India

A whirlwind of stoles in shimmering colors, an infinite variety of materials, ancestral know-how. There is a real scarf culture in India. It is daily, it warms or refreshes, it is precious.

This is why its manufacturing is the subject of so much attention. The techniques of thread dyeing, weaving, and printing are passed down from generation to generation.

Three different professions, each of which is a repository of unique know-how which guarantees the quality of the finished product.

France and India meet at Moismont. Our scarves are made in the Indian tradition, and imbued with a comforting and friendly softness.

Our designs are made by Adrien Testard, textile designer based in Paris.

Behind a Moismont scarf, we shelter, we warm up, we cry, we laugh, we live, like behind the walls of a family home.
